Gary J. Kloberdanz, DDS/MS "The Smile Specialist"  Dr.
Kloberdanz (Dr. K) is a specialist in orthodontic and dentofacial orthopedics
and has been practicing in Greeley since 1975. He graduated from Greeley West
High School in 1966 and was the school's first Senior Class President. He attended
the University of Colorado in Boulder for his undergraduate work and then the
University of Minnesota School of Dentistry where he received his Doctor of Dental
Surgery (DDS). He was the Student Body President graduating in 1973 and received
the first Annual Leadership Award.Dr. Kloberdanz received his Master of Science (MS) and certificate in Orthodontics in 1975 from the University of Minnesota and returned to Greeley to begin his specialty practice that same year. Approximately 25% of the orthodontists in the United States achieve the status of Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics through advanced oral & written testing and treated case demonstrations. Dr. Kloberdanz completed this process in 1989. Anyone who passes this test proves a broad range of expertise in the field of orthodontics. Dr. K has five children, David, Jonathan, Anna, Grace and Mary. Besides enjoying his children, Dr. K likes sports, music, movies, learning and life. Dr. Kloberdanz has been active in community and professional organizations. He is a past board member of Hope Ministries, Kiwanis of the Rockies, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, United Way Small Business, Dayspring Christian Schools, Christian Businessmen's Committee and University Lab School Foundation. He has also served as an elder at First United Presbyterian, Hope Centre and First Christian churches in Greeley. Dr. Kloberdanz has served as the President of the Weld County Dental Society and the Colorado Orthodontic Association. He has also been a board member of the Rocky Mountain Society of Orthodontists and a past President of the Colorado Summer Meeting. Dr. K is the past Editor of the Journal of the Rocky Mountain Society of Orthodontists and currently represents the Rocky Mountain region at the national level as the Chairman of the American Association of Orthodontists Council on Information Technology.  |
