The Five Dimensions
Framework for Personalized Medicine
The tetrahedron symbolizes the core unit for optimization.
Neuro
Mechanics
Hormones
Defense
Aesthetics
These five dimensions correspond to the tetrahedron’s four points and surface.
Each dimension is further divided into domains for optimization.

Neuro
As the fundamental units of the brain and nervous system, neurons dictate how people think, move and feel. As the primary dimension, Neuro dictates the activity of all other dimensions. This dimension includes the conventional medical specialties of neurology, ophthalmology and psychiatry.
Mechanics
As the fundamental system of movement, mechanics guide how people move throughout space and time. At the direction of Neuro, the body performs both voluntary and involuntary movements. This dimension includes all medical specialties involving mechanical processes, including: ENT, dentistry, pulmonology, cardiology, gastroenterology, nephrology, urology and orthopedics.

Hormones
As small chemical messengers, hormones coordinate numerous functions in the body. This dimension explores strategies to stimulate production of hormones as well as provide direct supplementation of those hormones. This dimension includes the conventional medical specialty of endocrinology.
Defense
As strategies for protection, Defense addresses both external threats (bacteria, viruses, fungi, etc.) as well as internal threats (cancer, autoimmune processes, etc.). This dimension includes the conventional medical specialties of infectious disease, immunology, rheumatology, oncology, reproductive medicine, regenerative medicine and nutrition.

Aesthetics
As the physical perception of self, aesthetics encompasses how people look to the outside world. This dimension includes the conventional specialties of dermatology and aesthetic medicine.
